PreK-5
Grade PreK-5 are self contained classrooms with each instructor covering the entire curriculum with the exception of the special classes which include art, orchestra, computer, choir, physical education, Spanish, Chinese and volunteer programs.
Grades 6-8
Grades 6-8 are departmentalized for Math, Science and Language Arts. Art, orchestra, computer, choir, physical education, Spanish, Chinese and volunteer programs enhance the curriculum.
School Principal
The Principal is the chief educational leader and facilitator. She is responsible for maintaining a Christian environment conducive to learning. The Principal is responsible for the day to day operation of the school.
Pastoral Representative
The Pastor representative is the spiritual leader of the school and the Christian educational community within the school. The Pastor shares in the work of the Archbishop of the Archdiocese. As a delegate of the Archbishop, the Pastoral representative is the administrative head of the regionals Catholic School.
Teachers
Teachers facilitate learning, model adult Christian behavior, and plan for engaging students in exploration, inquiry, and research. They help to develop language and numerical literacy, critical thinking and problem solving skills, and social and moral values. The Catholic school curriculum prepares students for responsible living, just stewardship, and respectful relationships with God, neighbor and self.
Teacher Assistants
The role of the teacher aide is to assist the classroom teacher. Any inquiry regarding a student’s academic performance is the classroom teacher’s area.
