Philosophy
The Latin motto of the Benedictines is "ora et labora." It translates "pray and work." In the Benedictine tradition we at Saint Benedict School strive for a balance between prayer and work.Jesus is central in our lives and HIS way is reflected in all that we do, in our words and in our actions. We endeavor for our students to benefit from the past, live present to the fullest and prepare for the future. We strive to instill Christian values while providing a challenging, well-rounded education for every child.
Saint Benedict School serves to bind its students, staff and families "together in faith" and strives to enable its students to reach their full potential as Christian citizens committed to service, justice and democracy. Saint Benedict School is proud to be a part of a long tradition that encourages its students to excel.
