Robotics Club
The St. Benedict robotics club is an opportunity for students to come together to learn and play with robots. The students are able to design, create and control Vex IQ robots and have the opportunity to compete in regional and state competitions. In 2019,our robotics club competed for the very first time. They went up against 42 other Baldwin County teams in the VEX IQ Robotics Challenge at Foley Middle School and took first Place, then going on to States and competed in Auburn at Alabama Vex State Competition.
Our students also have the opportunity to tinker with a Raspberry Pi, which is a series of small single-board computer developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to promote teaching basic computer science in schools.
